Several of my co-editors for Anti-Racist Community Engagement and I gave a pre-meeting workshop on the book at the American Association of Colleges & Universities Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. As part of our work as Equity and Engagement Fellows for Campus Compact, we’ve been traveling around the U.S., sharing the insights from the volume. We had a great session with 30 participants and dug into the challenges and opportunities of taking an anti-racist approach to work across universities and communities. I also got to sneak in a visit to my parents while I was there, and my dad made his unbeatable lamb rogan josh for me. Win-win!
